The 12 Makes of Christmas – Day 3

An impressive but manageable Christmas make. You could tailor this to anybody on your Christmas list, Best Friend, Dad, Brother, etc. Play with fabric combinations to make something distinctly them. I’ve been thinking about mixing our Harris Tweeds with the oilskin to create something fit for a highland ramble.

The RTR Rucksack works well in oilskin, sturdy canvases and heavy denims. If you choose a thick lining it will give the bag more stability. All the hardware for the rucksack can be found on our hardware page, along with the split cowhide leather. We also sell the hardware kits in brass and nickel, saving you adding all the bits and pieces to your basket!

The Rucksack in the picture is made from the Cumin Dry Oilskin, split cowhide leather and nickel hardware.

Fabric Options from top left to bottom right:

Nettle Dry Oilskin with Barrier Lining | Kojima Selvedge Denim with Mustard 03 cotton lining | Grass Dry Oilskin with Tomato Spot cotton lining.
