The 12 Makes of Christmas – Day 4

No sewing skills required! When we saw this wool fabric we knew it would make fabulous blankets. All you need to do is unravel the edges, 3-4 strands, to create a frayed edge. You can do a running stitch along the edge just to make sure it doesn’t unravel further. This fabric is 1.3m’s wide, and we cut this one to 1.8m’s which we think makes a substantial and cosy wrap around. These three wools are made in a traditional Iberian wool mill by local villagers.

The blanket in the main picture is made from the Hay wool.
