The classic, timeless identity of a French Mattress Cushion, when hand sewn and tufted, makes it a much sought after choice for window seats, bay windows and benches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn this sewing retreat you’ll make a French mattress cushion to your measurements using Merchant \u0026amp; Mills cloth. If you have time you can also make a bolster cushion or square cushion to compliment. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe maximum size of the mattress cushion you can make is 130cm x 60cm x 7cm. We welcome all sewing levels on this retreat however some experience with a machine is preferable. You’ll be doing hand and machine sewing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are 6 places on each retreat, accommodation is included. Rooms are single occupancy and for the student only.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat is included in your retreat fee:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e6 night stay at The Grove, in the heart of Rye (Monday night to Saturday night inclusive). This is a 2 minute walk from the shop and workshop where you’ll be sewing. You have Saturday to either relax at the Grove or go out and about in Rye.
