This fabric is not pre washed, always pre wash your fabric to get rid of any shrinkage (see below). The fabric will soften after being washed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe’ve called this a soft canvas as although it has a canvas appearance it isn’t ideal for garments that need lots of structure. If you choose to make something like the Ottoline or Foreman it will be a lightweight jacket, more of a ‘shacket’. Same with trousers, we would pick something like the 101’s that have a some gathers over the Eve’s which are more suited to structured cloth. This cloth would also make a great All State or Arbor shirt, or something like the Cawley or Etta dress. You could also use it for bag linings or cushion covers.
