Handwoven Cotton Stripe

A tiny multi stripe in blue, green and natural, this fabric would add subtle interest to any outfit. We would make a Tee or some Winnies.

Our Indian handlooms are delicate and lightweight, so perfect for Summer sewing or layering. They can be used for scarves, tops or dresses with some fullness. You can also use them for patchwork or home projects like semi sheer curtains.

• The stripe runs parallel to the selvedge.
• Indian handlooms are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave due to their handmade nature, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
