Gutermann extra strong thread. A tough and durable thicker thread which works well as a top stitch thread for items like jackets and dungarees. We find using normal thread on your bobbin and the extra strong on the top gives the best finish. All sewing machines are different so we’d advise doing some test stitching first.

We often use this thread on these patterns – Ottoline, Foreman, Harlene, Heroine.
