Description:

A soft pale tan shade. A great pairing with denim blue. This layered cotton has a jacquard weave that gives it a quilted look and feel.

The reverse is a gauzy cotton, there is no batting in the middle of this cloth, the inside is made up of a series of thicker yarns which gives it the quilted feel. The top is a fine cotton.

We can see this being used for throws, quilts, quilted jackets, oversized cushions, and smaller cosmetic bags. If possible we would advise overlocking your raw edges before sewing to prevent fraying.

There may be some white slubs throughout the cloth, these are not flaws.
Wash cool. Do not tumble. Shake out and dry flat. Iron cool.
There will be colour variations between rolls. There may also be colour graduation over the piece.
As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.

Sona Erba - Me Made May

Striped Rib - Fabric Pairings

We've designed eight colourful, striped ribs to be used in conjunction with our Sidney Sweatshirt, Tee Shirt, Fielder and TN34 Parka patterns. These are pre-cut strips that are easy to sew into necklines, cuffs and hems to add a flash of colour. They are made from 71.2% organic cotton and 28.8% elastane.

Jacquard Inspiration...

Our cotton jacquard is soft and cosy and perfect for comfortable clothing like our oversized Sidney sweatshirt or a winter dress. As well as clothing you can keep it very simple and use it for a throw for a bed, either just as it is, bagged out with a backing, or with a backing with wadding in between for maximum squish. It’s a wonderfully tactile and textural fabric that we are very happy to have in our collection.
