Something a little different…hand smocked cotton. Textured, soft and detailed these cottons are something very special. We think gathered skirts, simple boxy tops, cushions or even statement blinds in your home. This is a handmade piece so needs to be treated with care.
All of the thread used is 100% cotton so you could definitely dye this cloth, the only polyester thread used is where they have tied knots at the back, but this wouldn’t be seen from the front.
How to order:
We are selling this product in pieces, rather than by the metre. Each piece is 3.6M x 0.75M wide. So if you enter 1 in the box you will receive one piece measuring 3.6M x 0.75M, and if you enter 2 you will receive 2 pieces measuring 3.6M x 0.75M, not a continuous length.

- For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
- As our Indian cloth is handmade, they are susceptible to irregularities in the weave or print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
- As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
