Thank you so much to everyone who came to our 15th birthday party on Saturday; everyone who sent presents, messages and photos from afar and everyone who dressed up for the occasion (whether you were in Rye or on the other side of the world!) We hope you had as good a time as we did! We’re still riding high off the positive energy, kindness and creativity that enveloped the shop this weekend. It was truly joyful and inspiring! We really felt how much our little business means to you all and we’re so amazed by this community we’ve created together. United by a common love of cloth and making, there was a real family feeling to the event: strangers chatting like old friends, babies and dogs weaving between legs and rolls of fabric, staff and customers swapping tips and stories, music and food and drink and even some dancing! What a day. We love you all, happy sewing you beautiful bunch! We can’t wait to see what’s next on your project list.
