Water resistant Navy oilskin with a beeswax finish. Our new beeswax range uses an organic greige fabric and then is impregnated with a natural beeswax.

The fabric has a firm, crisp dry handle. It offers a vintage and distressed look when handled that will remain in the garment giving a unique leathery look. Please note the fabric smells like beeswax and will crease and marble much more than any of our other oilskins, so please be aware of this.

This fabric is water resistant, so this means that the water doesn’t completely run off it, but it won’t come through to the other side either.

• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project. To do so click on the ‘buy’ tab and then ‘add sample to cart’.
• Fabric can be ordered in 10cm increments. The minimum order is half a metre. For example, if you want 2.8m’s this is what you type in the box.

All our oilskins are sent folded unless otherwise requested. There will be firm lines where it has been folded – but as soon as you start to work with the fabric it will all become marbled so these will then just blend in to the rest of the fabric.
