Tencel/Linen Earl Grey£21.00/metre

Earl Grey is a dusty brown shade. It is very similar to ‘Soot’ but Soot is more green. This is beautifully versatile cloth that works for so many of our patterns, it is substantial with a soft drape and slightly slubby texture.

Suitable for dresses, tops, trousers and even lightweight jackets. Earl Grey is suitable for the following patterns in our Workbook: Bantam, Heron, Strides, Curlew and Saltmarsh.

63% tencel, 37% linen. 143cm wide. 240gsm/70z. Wash at 30 degrees. Tumble dry on a gentle setting. Iron on medium.

Tencel is made from wood pulp that’s harvested from tree farms that are sustainably managed and traceable. The fiber production itself is more eco-friendly than cotton production due to its’ closed-loop process. This means that up to 99% of the water and solvents used are recycled and reused.

We have 8 shades in this collection which you can see by clicking on the ‘alternative fabrics’ tab.
