Handwoven Cotton Check

A handloom large check in a natural ecru and green. An Indian cotton that would be perfect for cushions or lightweight curtains. We would also make a heavier shirt like an Arbor  or a chore jacket from the Workwear book.

• 120cm wide.
• 6.6oz, 225gsm.
• 100% cotton.
• Horizontal pattern repeat: 5cm. Vertical pattern repeat: 4.2cm.
• Country of Origin; India.
• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
• Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
