This cloth has been discounted due to flaws in the cloth reducing the usable amount to 115cm wide.

A perfectly crisp and crunchy poplin in a rich aubergine shade.

Ideal for patterns where you would like to add structure like shirts, dresses, and skirts. A perfect choice for beginner sewers, very easy to work with. We would make the Cawley dress.

This cloth is also suitable for the following patterns in our Workbook: Bantam, Heron, and Curlew top.

This is an deadstock fabric. Deadstock fabric is excess fabric from fashion designers, movie sets, and fabric mills that is no longer needed for the job it was originally intended for. It is not reorderable, so when it’s gone, it’s really gone!

  • Usable width 115cm.
  • 100% cotton.
  • 4oz,136gsm.
  • Country of origin, Italy
  • Wash at 30/40 degrees, with a non bio detergent, and on a gentle spin. Always pre wash your cloth before sewing to get rid of any shrinkage.
  • As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
  • Thread match Gutermann Sew All 883.

Please Note:

There are two very faint lines throughout the cloth hence the reduced price. They are approximately 17cm up from each selvedge edge. These are very faint lines, so could be worked around. The usable width without the lines is about 115cm.
