These beautifully simple rugs are made from natural fibre extracted from the banana plant. The fibre is hand twisted, processed and knitted together by skilled by artisans. Each piece is entirely handmade so each rug carries a unique and natural character.

Banana plant fibre is strong and highly breathable. It is completely biodegradable making it a great eco friendly option for a rug.

The trust we are working with have been supporting local communities through various multi – disciplinary projects since creation in 1997.

We are the only stockists of these rugs outside of India.

Spot clean only - after cleaning, dry them completely in the sun. Avoid keeping them wet for too long to maintain the fibre quality.

100% banana plant fibre – note due to this being a natural fibre, the colours will change across the rug and may vary from the photograph.
