Indian Cotton Cross Stitch

A new cross stitch cotton designed by Merchant & Mills, with a soft ecru base cotton with multicolour woven crosses throughout. With greens, blues, orange, yellow and pink this cotton would make great summer dresses and tops. We would make a Trapeze dress or a sweet mini Trapezette. It would also be great around the home as cushion covers and curtains.

• Indian handlooms are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave due to their handmade nature, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
• Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
