Handwoven Cotton Check

A natural ecru handloom with a large check of green and brown. The brown lines run paralell to the selvedge with the green running selvedge to selvedge. An Indian cotton that would be perfect for cushions or lightweight curtains. We would also make a heavier shirt like an Arbor  or a chore jacket from the Workwear book.

• 119cm wide.
• 6.6oz, 225gsm.
• 100% cotton.
• Horizontal pattern repeat: 4.5cm. Vertical pattern repeat: 4.2cm.
• Country of Origin; India.
• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
• Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
