We currently offer 3 different types of classes, online, in person non-residential and residential retreats. Our online classes walk you through every stage of the process, from setting up your cloth to perfecting the finishing details, they can be viewed at any time, for life. Our in person classes and retreats are a chance to come and join us in the studio above the shop and learn from our experienced teachers.We also have an array of free tutorials covering various skills and techniques found in Merchant & Mills patterns. Our informative video content has been produced with Katie, who as well as developing all of our patterns, is the lead teacher at the Merchant & Mills Sewing School.These can be found in the footer under ‘Tutorials’.
We offer online classes for the Eve Trousers, Factotum bag and the Florence dress and top.
Join us for an in person class to work on a specific project from start to finish.
Our sewing retreats are a chance to spend time away sewing and learning without the distractions of everyday life.
