Quilted Indian Cotton

A folky black and white Indian block printed quilted fabric, perfect for quilted jackets, gilets, cushions or coats. 

These fabrics are quilted with straight lines every 1cm. Every metre or so you will get a stitching line aross the width of the cloth.

One side of the cloth is black with white stars and the other side is white with black stars. We have included the thread match to match the black side but Sew All WHT can be used for the white side. 

Please note that the cloth is 105cm wide but only 98cm of the width has been quilted.

• 9.1oz, 311.3gsm.
• 100% cotton. 100% cotton wadding. 
• Country of origin; India.
• The quilting runs parallel to the selvedge.
• Please note: Indian hand-printed cloths are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
• This fabric is hand dyed. For the couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will fix the dye to prevent it from running.
• Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
