Indian Block Print Cotton

Vintage style Indian block print in warm tones of yellow and blue.

This cotton would be suitable for dresses with fullness and tops, we’d make a Florence or Hattie dress, or Winnie pyjamas.

This is a new dye batch and therefore we recommend ordering a sample to check the colour and suitability for your project. 

• 2.8oz, 98gsm.
• 114cm wide.
• 100% cotton.
• Country of origin; India.
• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
• Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.
• As our Indian cloth is handmade, they are susceptible to irregularities in the weave or print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
