Spend a relaxing Saturday afternoon in the Merchant & Mills studio with Ali from Francli Craftwear making this leather card holder. You will be able to emboss your leather using our tools, anything from A-Z! Your leather holder will develop a beautiful patina over time, gradually darkening with sunlight and use. The leather is oak bark tanned shoulder from J&FJ Baker tannery in Colyton, Devon - the last remaining traditional oak bark tannery in the UK.
This is a beginner workshop, you don’t need any prior experience working with leather or sewing to attend.
The class will run from 1 – 5pm, and you’ll be breaking for Tea/Coffee and locally made cake and snacks in the afternoon.
All leather and use of the tools are included in the class fee.
