Handwoven Cotton Check

A super soft Indian handloom cotton in a dainty coloured check with merlot red background.

This fabric would be ideal for light weight curtains or dresses and tops. We would make and Shepherd skirt or an Ellis dress.

• 123cm wide.
• 5.6oz, 89gsm.
• 100% cotton.
• Country of Origin; India.
• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
• Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
