Description:

A super soft cotton with light and dark pink stripes and a bright orange dot.

This cloth would make beautiful skirts, dresses, tops and shirts. It would also be suitable for lightweight curtains. Pink Lumiere would make a perfect Celeste.

Stripe width: 0.5cm, dot pattern repeat: 1cm
100% cotton.
Country of origin; India.
For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble.
As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.

This cloth is made with Kala cotton. Kala cotton is indigenous to Kutch in India and by default organic, as the farmers do not use any pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. It is a purely rain-fed crop that has a high tolerance for both disease and pests and requires minimal investment. The cotton has a beautiful rustic quality and we love it for it’s eco credentials and raw beauty.
