Kantha Stitch Cotton

A cobalt blue on blue Kantha stitched cotton. Kantha is a simple hand stitched line, a very traditional Indian technique.

You could use this for dressmaking or home projects, you could even put wadding in the middle and make yourself a quilt.

• 118cm wide.
• 2.9oz, 101gsm.
• 100% cotton.
• Country of origin; India.
• Please note: Indian hand-made cloths are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
• Hand wash only.
• This fabric is hand dyed. For the first couple of washes, add a handful of table salt. This will fix the dye to prevent it from running.
• Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
