Vacancy – Order Fulfilment

We are looking for a new person to join our online fulfilment team, based in Rye East Sussex.

Your duties will include:

Cutting and folding fabric orders, with speed and precision.

Gathering and putting together orders accurately.

Booking out orders with couriers, preparing documents.

Taking in deliveries from our warehouse.

The right candidate:

This is a very manual role you will be on your feet all day – lots of moving of fabric and boxes! We are looking for somebody hard working and conscientious with good time management skills. This role would suit you if you like to be within a fast paced environment and enjoy the satisfaction of an empty order board at the end of the day. We must stress that although you will be surrounding by beautiful cloth this is not a creative role.

When we move forward post Covid there is the possibility of helping out in the shop so it is beneficial that you have some sewing knowledge, although not essential.

Hours – 9 – 5 Sunday – Thursday. Post covid it is likely that this would become Monday – Friday.

Rate of pay – £9.50/h. (Sunday time and a half).

Contract – This is a temporary contract for 3 months. This will be reviewed and potentially extended relating to your performance and the needs of the business.

Location – You will be based at our shop within the centre of Rye. This location could be subject to change, but it would always be within Rye.
