Pigment Linen/Cotton Canvas Black

This linen/cotton canvas has been coated in a black pigment on one side. The other side is the natural colour of the cloth. It has the rugged soft handle that linen gives with the waxy feel of the pigment on one side.

This cloth has a water repellent finish. You can wash this at 30 degrees in the machine, but if you wash it repeatedly eventually the water repellent finish will come off, in which case we would recommend re proofing.

You can see in the photos how the surface becomes more painterly and broken down with washing. We think this would be a great cloth for jackets and coats or even trousers. At 8.8oz it is medium weight and becomes much softer with washing. This cloth is woven in the UK.
