A cotton denim in a chestnut brown. This 10oz denim fabric is soft to touch and has a softer washed look after laundering. An opaque fabric with no stretch. Austin would make perfect Heroine jeans or an Ottoline jacket.

Please note this cloth is a new version of our Herbert 10oz the yarn colour is exactly the same, but the weave is slightly different – there is more ecru showing. If you’d like to see a snippet please order a sample.

• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
