9oz Utility Canvas Navy
Description
A classic utility cotton basket weave in navy. This is a soft but strong cotton canvas that would be suitable for bag making, coats, jackets and trousers that require some structure like our Eve pattern. Please note this colour is not a classic navy, it has a slight aubergine/brown hint to it - please order a sample to check it's what you want.
Utility Navy is suitable for the following patterns in our Workbook: Haremere coat.
We have other colours of Utility 9oz, Black, Tan, Navy and Olive. You can see these by clicking on the alternative fabrics tab.
- 150cm wide.
- 9oz, 300gsm.
- 100% cotton.
- Country of origin; Turkey.
- Wash at 30/40 degrees.
- As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
- Thread match Gutermann Sew All 32.
Washing Instructions
Always pre wash your fabric before sewing. Putting a large piece of medium-heavy weight cotton into the washing machine can sometimes lead to white creases within the cloth, this is because it is a stiff fabric so it doesn’t have room to move around. We recommend doing the following to help this not to happen:
