Kelsch Check Pesto
Description
A cloth collaboration between Merchant & Mills and Studio Faeger. Studio Faeger specialise in both residential and commercial spaces that put handmade in the spotlight. Victoria’s designs are bold and intentional yet delicate and meaningful to those who live in them.
The ‘Household’ collection is inspired by the past and designed for honest and easy living. Deeply practical, dependable, familiar and a touch nostalgic.
We designed this new base cloth with interiors in mind, think sofa toppers, cushions, upholstered footstalls and chairs, or curtains and blinds. You could also use this cloth for jackets, coats and bags. A zesty mix of sky blue, lime green and brown.
What is Kelsch? A Kelsch is a traditional linen blend check, historically hand stitched into Victorian duvet covers and gifted to newlyweds in the 19th century as treasured household linens. Later made into ladies Pinnies with hand embroidered initials belonging to each owner.
