Remnant (Indigo Enoki Indian Block Print Cotton)
Only 1 left in stock
Description
These remnant pieces are end of rolls, they are not flawed in any way. The discount off has already been added – so the price you see is the final price. Under 1m - 20%, over 1m - 5%.
A polka dot Bagru block print in Indigo. Bagru, a small village in Rajasthan, 35 kilometres from Jaipur, is known for its hand block printing utilising traditional processes and natural colours. Bagru prints tend to be more simple with limited colours in comparison to Sanganer block prints which are more colourful with finer detail. Block printing is still practiced by the Chippa community, who have lived here for over 400 years.
Indigo Enoki is suitable for tops, and dresses and skirts with fullness.
- 2.6oz, 88gsm.
- 114cm wide.
- 100% cotton.
- Country of origin: India.
- This fabric is hand dyed. For the couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will fix the dye to prevent it from running.
- As our Indian cloth is handmade, they are susceptible to irregularities in the weave or print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
- As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.
- Thread match Gutermann Sew All: 711.
